Passed almost a month since my return from KPMC in Korea, and although this entry was finished some time ago - waiting for the right opportunity ...
Today I found on facebook some fantastic friends, whom I had the opportunity to meet in Korea;)
Some of you probably already know a little about social media tracking, however, no shortcut here would like to tell you in a few sentences of what happened ... and why should I fight for a trip to the tournament. :)
As you know, after winning qualification in Warsaw won the right to representation of Polish and Polish Go Association Cup for the fifth Prime Minister of Korea Baduk. It was my first major trip and I hope they will not last, because I admit I really enjoyed it.
Travel to Korea.
I left the Poznan airport October 20th, with a change to fly via Frankfurt to the airport in Incheon - located near Seoul. Someone may ask why not directly to Seoul? That's Incheon airport handles long-haul international flights. It is also true at the airport in Seoul, but it supports local flights from Korea, China and Japan.
On arrival in Incheon picked up their luggage and headed for the exit in sear
ch of our mentor. Here, I recognized Frederik - 5 dan from Sweden, who flew the same flight from Europe.
After our phone, we met up with a supervisor and the other players.
Waited some time for the arrivals of other players and went to dinner. Of course I ordered the spicy "kimczi" as recommended by Vladimir 1dan Malinowski, who was here a few years earlier.
Went down a small misunderstanding - and yet was about something else:) - by oldkimchi - that is something like a spicy Polish stuffed cabbage.
Kimczi is a delicious soup (from the crockpot). I am a little worried if I did not hurt, but everything I ate slowly. Delicious!

Contrary to appearances, Polish and Korean cuisine is based on many similar flavors. However, in Poland it is usually regional specialties that are not so popular.
Except maybe a famous bigos.
Hotel Airpark.
After lunch at one of the airport restaurants, drove a taxi to the airport hotel Airpark. (Here we spent one night probably due to recover from the time change.)
In the evening we went a group of about 50 people for dinner at a local small restaurant.
I was somewhat surprised that in such a small restaurant, we all entered.
Before returning to the hotel I did a little shopping. After using the key Korean words - 'Hello' 'Thank you' and 'Good bye' everything seemed so simple. ...
After a night rich in events (fire in the hotel restaurant!)
The next day around 9:00 we went to Changwon - million town on South Korea. Along the way, we ate lunch after 5 hours to travel across to reach the goal.
After registering at the hotel we were able to relax just 2 hours. Then began an audiovisual presentation of the region, information about the server Wbaduk and news, and at the end of the presentation of pairing in the first round. We also were given badges and other merchandise.
It's time for an official dinner with the divine Asian food ... I could sing every time going up to the buffet ... "I'm in heaven ..."
Worth noting was still meeting with Hajin after a few months. :) (For non-oriented - is a Korean professional, who visited Poland at this year's LSG giving a lot of lectures and simultaneous games.) I admit that I fondly remember this meeting:). Later, outside the passage to the main street in Changwon and długonocnym Baduk TV watching and keeping track of that same game on the portal Lee Changho Wbaduk ... nothing great has happened.
